Welcome to the Beta test version of China IP Compass, a bilingual database of Chinese Intellectual Property cases.  We have established this site in response to demands from many rights holders for greater transparency in the Chinese IP legal system.  There are many Chinese websites that publish Chinese IP cases in Chinese, but none, we know of in English. 

China IP Compass provides a searchable database of Chinese IP cases with the machine translations of the English cases.  The translations, while not perfect, provide a general introduction to the major themes of the case.  Contributions of cases and of improved translations are welcome.  Please click on the Feedback link.
